Bill Drummond is making 40 beds. From wood. By hand. In public. Other than those made for family and colleagues, each of the 40 beds are being raffled off to any passers-by willing to buy a ticket, for a nominal price. The 40 beds are not the art . The thoughts, dreams and actions that happen in these beds, on these beds or underneath these beds is the art.

During the Wereld van Witte de With Bill Drummond is making one bed. At the end of the festival, Bill Drummond will give a lecture on his bed making project. Then the bed will be raffled of to the festival public!

Location: Bill builds his bed on the bridge between Arminius and the Witte de With street.
Lottery tickets: €1,-. The bed will be auctioned during the lecture at the William Boothlaan.
Lecture: Sunday 4:00 pm. Mind you, in the festival time schedule the location for the lecture is Museumplein. This has changed into the William Boothlaan!
