For three days De Wereld van de Witte de With brings you international and national modern art. The emphasis lies on art in public spaces by young and cutting edge artists from Europe and Rotterdam. Next to visual arts the festival provides a stage for theatre, fashion, dance, music, film and photography. Traditionally more than 30 institutions open up their doors to show what they have to offer.

Together with Lukas Feireiss the Loodsen Foundation programs a collection of expetional visual art. On and around de Witte de Withstreet several (inter)national artists use the public space and change it into a magnificant world where the city is finished and just exists to enjoy.

Most elements are free to visit unless it is mentioned otherwise.

The festival takes place on and around the Witte de With quarter and the Museumpark in the city centre of Rotterdam. The festival terrain is easily accessible by bicycle of public transport. Parking space is limited.

Train
Rotterdam Central Station is located on only 10 minutes by foot. From the station cross the square and follow the Westersingel. Cross Eendrachtsplein at the end. You walk onto the festival terrain right away. You can also use the metro (line D, dir. De Akkers, get out at Beurs), bus (48 dir. Keizerswaard. Get out at Beurs) or tram (line 20 dir. Lombardijen. Get out at Museumpark).

Car
From the highway around Rotterdam follow direction Rotterdam Centrum. The closests parkinglot is Westblaak (Hartmanstraat 35). Garages at Schouwburgplein and Eendrachtsplein are within walknig distance as well. You can ONLY pay with creditcard or chip card.
